KITAS Categories & Descriptions
E23 – Working / Employment KITAS
Stay: 6 months / 1 year / 2 years
This visa is for foreign professionals employed by Indonesian companies. The E23 KITAS allows you to legally work and stay in Indonesia under an officially approved employer.

E31 – Family KITAS (Spouse / Child of KITAS Holder)
Stay: 6 months / 1 year / 2 years
This visa allows spouses and children of foreign KITAS holders or Indonesian citizens to legally stay in Indonesia. The E31 KITAS is for dependents who do not work in Indonesia but can study or live with family members.

For Offshore Applications
General Requirements:
- Passport valid for at least 18 months (for 1-year KITAS) or 30 months (for 2-year KITAS).
- Recent color photo (white background).
- Sponsor letter from company, school, family, or retirement agent.
- Proof of financial capacity (bank statement minimum USD 2,000 or equivalent).
- Health/travel insurance policy valid in Indonesia.
Required Documents:
- Passport scan (biodata and signature page).
- Recent photo (white background).
- Company documents (NIB, NPWP, Deed of Establishment) for employer/investor KITAS.
- RPTKA & IMTA approval (for working KITAS).
- Marriage or birth certificate (for family KITAS).
- Letter of acceptance (for student KITAS).
- Proof of pension/funds (for retirement KITAS).
For Onshore Applications
General Requirements:
- Must already be in Indonesia with a valid visa (B211A, VOA, or previous KITAS).
- Passport must have minimum 6 months validity.
- Sponsor letter and documents as per KITAS type.
Required Documents:
- Original passport.
- Scan of visa/stay permit page and latest entry stamp.
- Sponsor letter and ID/company documents.
- Proof of address in Indonesia.

For Extension Applications
General Requirements:
- KITAS must still be valid (apply at least 30 days before expiry).
- Applicant must be present in Indonesia during the process.
- Same sponsor as the existing KITAS.
