D2 – Business Multiple Entry Visa

The D2 Business Multiple Entry Visa is designed for professionals and entrepreneurs who frequently travel to Indonesia for meetings, business negotiations, training, or investment discussions.
It does not permit employment, but allows multiple short business visits during the visa validity period.
D12 – Pre-Investment Multiple Entry Visa
Stay Duration per Visit: 180 Days
The D12 Pre-Investment Multiple Entry Visa is ideal for investors and business representatives conducting feasibility studies, market analysis, or preliminary investment arrangements in Indonesia.
This visa allows multiple visits over 1 or 2 years, with each stay up to 180 days, making it the best choice for long-term business planning and market exploration.
Requirements & Documents
New Application
General Requirements:
- Passport valid for at least 18 months (for 1-year visa) or 30 months (for 2-year visa).
- Return or onward flight ticket.
- Sponsor or invitation letter from an Indonesian company or institution.
- Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay.
- Purpose of visit clearly stated (tourism, business, or investment).
Required Documents:
- Scanned passport biodata page (in color, clear, valid).
- Recent color photo (white background, passport size).
- Return or onward flight ticket.
- Hotel booking or sponsor’s address in Indonesia.
- Sponsor/invitation letter (signed and stamped).
- Company documents of the sponsor (NIB, NPWP, business license).
- Bank statement (minimum balance recommended: USD 2,000 or equivalent).
- Active email and WhatsApp number for communication.
Extension
General Requirements:
- Visa must be still valid (not expired).
- Applicant must be in Indonesia during the extension process.
- No ongoing visa change or status conversion.
Required Documents:
- Original passport.
- Scan of visa page and latest entry stamp.
- Copy of e-Visa or current approval letter.
- Sponsor letter for extension.
- Updated address in Indonesia.
- Recent color photo.
Notes:
- Each visit under a Multiple Entry Visa can be extended up to 60 or 180 days, depending on the visa type.
- Extension processing time: Regular (5–7 working days), Priority (1–3 working days).
